Content Moderation Policy

This describes how moderation actually works in the product today — a mix of self-service, host-level, and platform-level controls — rather than a generic description of "trust and safety" processes Envvite doesn't yet have (e.g. there's no automated content-scanning system as of this writing).

Three levels of control

1. You, over your own content

You can delete a comment, chat message, or photo you posted yourself at any time, from within the event.

2. Hosts and co-hosts, within their own event

A host or co-host can remove any comment or chat message posted in their event, and can remove a guest from the event entirely. This is the primary moderation layer on Envvite — most events are small, invite-only gatherings where the host is best positioned to judge what's appropriate for their guests.

3. Envvite, platform-wide

Envvite can remove content or suspend/terminate an account for violating our Terms of Service, Acceptable Use Policy, or Community Guidelines — including content that's illegal, sexually exploitative of a minor, or reported to us directly (see below). We don't pre-screen content before it's posted; review happens after content is live, either because it's reported or because we become aware of it another way (for example, a valid copyright notice under our Copyright Policy).

Reporting content

If a host/co-host can act on it directly (a comment or message within their own event), that's usually the fastest path. For anything else — or if the host is the problem — email privacy@envvite.com with a description and, where possible, a link or screenshot. Appeals

If your content was removed or your account was suspended and you believe that was a mistake, email privacy@envvite.com with your account details and a brief explanation; we'll review it.
