Child Safety Policy

This describes how Envvite is actually built with respect to minors today — it is not a substitute for legal advice, and the placeholder below marks a real open question that needs a licensed attorney's review, not a template fill-in.

Who can use Envvite

You must be at least 13 years old to create an Envvite account, and account creation is not intended for anyone under that age. If you're under 18, you may only use Envvite with a parent or guardian's permission (see Section 2 of our Terms of Service).

Children's information entered by a host

Envvite includes party themes aimed at kids' events (for example, birthday parties). A host may include a child's name — and, for RSVP headcounts, an age — on a guest list they create themselves, such as when inviting a child to a birthday party. That information is entered by the adult host, not collected by us directly from a child, and it's used only to run that specific event (headcounts, guest list display to the host). Zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material

Envvite has zero tolerance for content that sexually exploits or endangers children. Any such content, wherever we become aware of it, is removed immediately and the account responsible is terminated. Where legally required, we report such content to the relevant authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).

Reporting a child safety concern

If you see content or behavior on Envvite that concerns you for a child's safety, email privacy@envvite.com with "Child safety" in the subject line, along with as much detail as you can provide (event, user, and what you saw). We treat these reports as the highest priority. If a child is in immediate danger, contact local law enforcement or emergency services first.

Parents and guardians

If you believe your child under 13 has created an account or otherwise provided us personal information directly, contact us at privacy@envvite.com and we will delete it, consistent with the "Children's privacy" section of our Privacy Policy.
